Monday, January 21, 2019  – PNK2030 representatives met with the Four Seasons’ Home Owner Association’s Long Range Planning Committee members and briefed them on Partnership initiatives.  PNK2030’s goal is to assist New Kent County in becoming a citizen-centric government where transparency allows all tax-payers a clear window into how all tax and other revenues are allocated and spent.   We strive to achieve consensus on a pathway for future, directed growth in this lovely rural county.  New Kent is the second fastest growing county in the Commonwealth.  Our population has doubled and then doubled again in the past 50 years.  We continue to grow at 3% per annum – so it is imperative we, the citizens, assist in driving that growth deliberately and positively instead of just responding to it.  There is obvious synergy between efforts of Four Season’s Long Range Planners and the Partnership.  We look forward to additional briefings and interchanges.
