For District 3 New Kent School Board Member

Ms. Staskiel serves as the Executive Director of Warwick Forest, a Lifeplan Continuing Care Retirement Community in Newport News, Virginia.

Andrea has dedicated her career to serve others. For more than 20 years she has led teams through organizational change, focusing on recruiting and retaining top talent. Andrea is responsible for all operations and fiscal management, coordinates all services and infrastructure needs for the Lifeplan retirement community.

Her professional mantra, there is nothing more important than building and energizing teams eager to serve their clients. She is also focused on demonstrating how valued these individuals are, and how meaningful they are to the organization. As a school board member, Andrea brings the same philosophy to the board by addressing opportunities and challenges with the same business perspective and systematic approach. She supports the expansion of technical education through the collaboration with Building Communities. Additionally, her work in advocacy, at the legislative level, has benefited New Kent Schools.

On a personal level, Andrea is a mother of two who attend New Kent Public Schools.
